Pressing the largest sizes
TAVINOX PRESS Ø 76.1–108 mm
Episode three of the TAVINOX Video Academy is about the largest sizes in the system — Ø 76.1, 88.9 and 108 mm. Preparing the joint works the same way as on the smaller diameters, but there is one extra decision you do not face with the small sizes: single or double pressing. The video shows both, on a real tube with real tools.

Pressing Ø 76.1–108 mm – single and double pressing
The largest sizes on the ED-60100 press machine (65 kN). When single pressing is enough (drinking water, heating, cooling) and when double pressing with DUO rings is required (fire protection, sprinkler and high-pressure pipework).

Single or double pressing?
On Ø 76.1–108 mm, the pressing method is chosen according to the type of application. What decides it is how demanding the project is on the joint.
Single pressing
One pressing cycle with a standard M76ZU, M89ZU or M108ZU press ring, via the M76108ZU adapter on the ED-60100 press machine.

Double pressing
The joint is pressed with the M76ZU.D, M88ZU.D or M108ZU.D DUO rings intended for double pressing — again on the ED-60100 press machine with the M76108ZU adapter.

The right pressing method must always be chosen according to the specific application, the project requirements and the technical conditions of the TAVINOX PRESS system.

The large sizes are pressed only with the ED-60100 press machine — smaller press tools are not up to it. All the tools are in stock at our warehouse in Zlín.
