TAVINOX PRESS is a stainless steel press-fit system suitable for thermal solar systems per EN 12975 and secondary heat pump circuits. Range –35 to +110 °C.

Why stainless steel for heat pumps and solar systems
Solar systems and heat pumps operate in different regimes from conventional heat sources. Stainless steel makes sense in these applications.
Wide temperature range
Stainless steel handles reliably from –35 °C in winter operation to high operating temperatures. No material fatigue and no degradation.
Inert to glycol mixtures
Primary circuits of solar systems work with antifreeze mixtures. Stainless steel does not react even upon their degradation.
One material for both heat pump modes
Reversible heat pumps switch between heating and cooling. Stainless steel handles both modes without any change in properties.
Resistance to cyclic loading
Solar systems go through thermal cycles daily. Suitable for systems with repeated heating and cooling.
Service life matching the source
Solar collectors and heat pumps are designed for 20 or more years, a lifespan that stainless steel piping reliably meets.
